Description: Drawing on inspiration from the late Dennis Palmer, one of Chattanooga’s most innovative painters and improvisational musicians, participants considered the structure underlying good pattern building, whether in the visual or audio arts. Their vegetative drawings were enlarged and traced onto a cloth that was then painted by the teens. The now painted vegetation were collaged and finally adhered to Mark Making’s buildings.
