Glass Street / East Chattanooga

Artists: 29 Chattanooga teens in collaboration with professional film-maker Alli Dozet

Partners: George R. Johnson Family Foundation, Chattanooga Public Library, and Baylor School

Description: Magic Markers used the creative process of film-making as a conduit for work readiness training. Facilitated by
professional filmmakers, the program engaged teens as apprentices and immersed them in an environment where business practices defined their interactions, their progress and their success. Through hands-on workshops and one-on- one mentoring, apprentices, all of whom had no previous film-making experience, collaborated as teams to complete at least one short film in ten days.  Visit the links above or to view the videos.
